Once upon a time, a culinary journey was set in motion more than 37 years ago. With unwavering dedication and an ardent love for food, we began to serve culinary fineness since then. Standard Platter Catering and Hospitality Pvt Ltd emerged from the picturesque small town of Mariani, Assam under the inspirational leadership of AK Ghose, our founder.

 

Embarking on a Journey of Humble Beginnings
Our visionary leader AK Ghose with undeterred passion and commitment created a masterpiece, known as, Standard Platter Catering Hospitality Pvt Ltd. With a shared dream of redefining dining and catering experiences, we embarked on a journey of food and hospitality to travelers and passengers.

With each passing year, our humble beginning started to grow into extraordinary initiatives and ventures. Infusing more flavors into our kitchens and mirroring the spices, we expanded our horizons beyond and reached West Bengal and Tamil Nadu.

Expanding Horizons:
Embracing Innovation with IRCTC
With dedication and our humble endeavor, we blossomed into a full-fledged catering enterprise that remained true to its roots. In August 1987, we established our very first railway catering service by boarding on the Kamrup Express (Guwahati to Dibrugarh). Fuelled by persistent acts of excellence and passion, we embarked on a journey that turned the wheel of our organization making an unremarkable impact on the food and catering industry in Assam.

As we expanded our horizons, we were able to cater to more railway services. From the Yashwanthpur Express to the Lohit Express, and from the Jana Shatabdi Express to the Chennai Express, our prepared culinary delicacies traveled the length and breadth of our nation, delighting the passengers all the way. When IRCTC beckoned to establish Cell Kitchens and Fast Food units with tenders, we seized the opportunity to expand our enterprise.
From there, a new chapter in the life of our enterprise started. We acquired a cell kitchen in Tinsukia, Assam, and thus our mission to tantalize the taste buds of passengers began.

Unfolding a New Chapters
With our growing presence in places like Tinsukia, Rangia, Alipurduar, and Coochbehar, our commitment strengthened to serve delectable and hygienic cuisine to people. As we went on establishing food chains and catering units in different institutions serving varied tastes and preferences of our beloved customers, it bears a testament to the mission and vision of our organization.
